Initial consultation and testing
Often people underestimate the importance of the first consultation. To start and finish treatment as soon as possible, they ask the dentist to immediately take care of the caries-damaged teeth or solve other problems here and now.
Our specialists work on the principle of teamwork, so initial consultation is very important. This allows You to know Your treatment area best and provide You with the highest quality service.
During initial consultation:
- Your general health is determined.
- Teeth are examined and the condition of the oral cavity is assessed. Your own understanding of what is going on in Your mouth as well as what processes are needed for a complete smile restoration are extremely important for a successful dental treatment.
- The treatment options are introduced and the course of the required procedures is explained.
There are often situations where an external inspection of the teeth may not be sufficient for a thorough oral examination.
To assess the condition of one or more tooth roots, their canals, the surrounding bone or caries-damaged teeth, we use digital X-rays :
- dental,
- panoramic,
- computed tomography,
- 3D computer modeling.
These provide a lot of information needed for accurate treatment. The data is also important for You to better visualize the treatment process.
A digital X-ray is taken while You are sitting in a dental chair. The resulting image is immediately visible on the computer screen. The dentist can use the functions of a computer program to interact with the images in the photo, measure the required segments, and otherwise examine the data.
Performing a digital X-ray is completely safe and reliable.
